Payment Policy

Effective Date: 31st March 2026

At Dr. Tech, we aim to provide a seamless and secure transaction experience. This Payment Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, billing procedures, and security protocols for all repair services and product purchases.

By engaging our services, you agree to the terms and conditions stated below.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

To provide convenience to our Filipino customers, we accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash: Accepted for all over-the-counter transactions at any Dr. Tech branch.

  • Digital Wallets (E-Wallets): We officially support GCash and Maya. Payments must be made via the official Dr. Tech QR code displayed at the counter.

  • Bank Transfers: Direct transfers via InstaPay or PESONet are accepted. Service will only be finalized once the funds are reflected in our account.

  • Credit/Debit Cards: [Optional: Insert if you have a terminal, e.g., Visa/Mastercard via Maya Terminal].

  • Installment Plans: [Optional: e.g., Billease or GGives], subject to third-party provider approval.

2. Billing & Service Fees

  • Repair Estimates: A preliminary quote is provided during device intake. This is an estimate and may change if additional hidden damages are discovered.

  • Diagnostic Fee: A standard diagnostic fee of [₱500] applies if a device is inspected but the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair. This fee is waived if the repair is authorized.

  • Full Payment: All repair bills and product purchases must be settled in full before the device or item is released. We do not support "Partial Payments" or "Promissory Notes" for device collection.

3. Currencies & Taxes

  • All transactions are processed in Philippine Pesos (PHP).

  • Prices displayed on our website or provided in quotes are inclusive of applicable local taxes (VAT) unless otherwise stated.

  • Official Receipts (OR) or Sales Invoices are issued for every transaction in compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations.

4. Security of Transactions

  • Digital Security: For online or E-Wallet payments, Dr. Tech employees will never ask for your MPIN, OTP (One-Time Password), or account password.

  • Verification: For high-value transactions or credit card payments, we reserve the right to request a valid Government ID to verify the identity of the payor.

5. Refund Processing

In the event a refund is approved under our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy:

  • Original Mode of Payment: Refunds will generally be issued via the same method used for the initial payment.

  • Processing Time: While Dr. Tech processes refunds within 3 business days, the actual reflection of funds may take longer depending on your bank or E-Wallet provider’s internal clearing period.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Please note that third-party transaction fees (e.g., credit card surcharges or convenience fees) are non-reimbursable.

6. Unpaid Accounts & Abandonment

  • Devices will not be released until the total service balance is cleared.

  • If a device remains unpaid and unclaimed beyond ninety (90) days, it will be handled according to our Abandonment Policy (refer to Terms of Service) to recover costs for parts and labor.
