Dr. Tech will not process your data for any unauthorized purposes, adhering to the principle of Proportionality (collecting only what is needed).

3. Repair & Device Testing Protocol

To verify hardware functionality (camera, touch, network), we may request a device passcode.

• Privacy Guarantee: Under RA 10173, your right to privacy is absolute. Our technicians are strictly prohibited from accessing private apps, messages, or photos.

• Voluntary Consent: Providing a passcode is optional. However, please note that declining may limit our ability to perform full quality-assurance testing, which could affect your warranty coverage.

4. Security Measures

Following Section 20 of the DPA, Dr. Tech implements rigorous organizational, physical, and technical security measures. Your data is stored in secured systems and is only accessible by authorized personnel. We strictly prohibit the storage of customer data on unsecured personal devices.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We may share limited data with trusted partners (e.g., Lalamove, Grab, or J&T for deliveries). In line with Section 14 of the DPA, these providers are covered by data-sharing agreements that require them to maintain the same level of confidentiality and protection as Dr. Tech.

Under Chapter IV of RA 10173, you are entitled to the following rights:

• Right to be Informed: To know how your data is being processed.

• Right to Access & Correction: To request a copy of your data or correct any inaccuracies.

• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): To request the deletion of your data once the service/legal retention period is over.

• Right to Damages: To be indemnified for any damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, or unauthorized use of personal data.
